Delmar Godoy's late challenge caught a Aiacos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Godoy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Angeles del Interior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Godoy to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Silvano Caradaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Angelino Tiso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Aiacos's Angelino Tiso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Baumer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ulises Natal in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvano Caradaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute, Delmar Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Herena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Godoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ulises Natal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angeles del Interior FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Natal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Caradaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Godoy in the 53rd minute of play forced Aiacos's goalkeeper Silvano Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Angelino Tiso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Remigio Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 60th minute when Severiano Herena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Angeles del Interior FC's Nicolas Frutos got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Angelino Tiso came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Aiacos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Tiso couldn't finish the play. Delmar Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Angeles del Interior FC booed when Aiacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Tiso in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Aiacos's Cleto Acevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remigio Baumer. Remigio Baumer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After having played for 86 minutes, Severiano Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aiacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Herena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulises Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Silvano Caradaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Caradaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Godoy's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Remigio Baumer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severiano Herena in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aiacos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
