Desiderio Abreu came out of the goal and Fidel Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Arena Blanca F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Maximiliano Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Roberto Ariando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poma AFC. When Mario Mikeldi fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 88th minute of the match Victoriano Damario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Abreu skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Gasteiz in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Ariando saved Arena Blanca F.C from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Poma AFC's Ivan Clodio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Ariando narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
