An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Bautista in the 4th minute of play forced Angeles del Interior FC's goalkeeper Remigio Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes, Rafael Chap mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angeles del Interior FC and the Chacarita AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 6 minutes into the game, one of Angeles del Interior FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Chacarita AFC. Ismael Domingues stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Remigio Baumer. 0-1. Julio Jakue kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Angeles del Interior FC's Benigno Lico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angel Isauro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Angeles del Interior FC reached it. Ulises Natal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Isauro having to interfere. Ulises Natal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Angel Isauro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Gervasio Bautista notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Angeles del Interior FC's Remigio Baumer. Remigio Baumer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Modesto Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Remigio Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Julio Jakue was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacarita AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angeles del Interior FC the free kick. After having played for 34 minutes, Ulises Natal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angeles del Interior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Natal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmar Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chacarita AFC's Gervasio Bautista got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

51 minutes into the match, Angeles del Interior FC's goalkeeper Remigio Baumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Inko. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Delmar Godoy put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Angel Isauro. The supporters of Chacarita AFC booed when Angeles del Interior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Nalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Baumer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Delmar Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Isauro having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Angeles del Interior FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Montae. Angel Isauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Godoy in the 75th minute of the match. If Ulises Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Delmar Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Isauro having to interfere. Ulises Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ulises Natal came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Angeles del Interior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Natal couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes Chacarita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Inko. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chacarita AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
