The referee ignored Sopapa y Cotonete FC's protests and gave Victorio Botello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Sopapa y Cotonete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Botello to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Narciso Gar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Rencio was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
