The score was now 1-0. After 6 played minutes Cubanea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Valente. When Club Atlético Trentino's Hipolito Fernandes in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cubanea AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Cordarius in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Telo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 played minutes Cubanea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Hermon. If Pedro Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marciano Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Trentino's protests and gave Marciano Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Trentino! The referee gave Cubanea AFC a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rogelio Hermon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atlético Trentino's Cristian Telo. 1-1. A hard shot 44 in the game by Pedro Maureo from a close distance when the talented Hugo Gonsalvo managed to make a qualified save. Cubanea AFC's players were relieved. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Hipolito Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Club Atlético Trentino booed when Cubanea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Maureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Club Atlético Trentino's Hipolito Fernandes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Gonsalvo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Maureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Cordarius in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Telo saved Club Atlético Trentino from getting behind. Pedro Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Maureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Trentino's goalkeeper Cristian Telo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cubanea AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
