Camilo Harkaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Eriberto Llin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Llin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Harkaitz in the 15th minute of play. Teobaldo Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Frans having to interfere. When Almafuerte FC's Leonardo Blanco, in the 44th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Almafuerte FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Iago during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Coco y los Ñomos's Constantino Iago got a free kick in the 45th minute. Eriberto Llin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camilo Harkaitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Txordon made a kick off. Constantino Iago got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 55 played minutes Coco y los Ñomos got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Iago. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo Dantae during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Coco y los Ñomos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Dantae to maneuver through the defense. Coco y los Ñomos's Eriberto Llin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Harkaitz in the 59th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Harkaitz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Coco y los Ñomos booed when Almafuerte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 81st minute, when Coco y los Ñomos's Omar Bertin after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Eusebio Frans in Almafuerte FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Eriberto Llin came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Almafuerte FC's Leonardo Blanco. But to his dismay, Leonardo Blanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Eusebio Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Txordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Coco y los Ñomos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
