When Javier Azeari fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Brun's protests and gave Javier Azeari a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Rocio in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Salomon saved Club Atletico Brun from getting behind. Dante Isaio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Melquiades Matthew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match Bonifacio Rudolfo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melquiades Matthew skillfully saved the ball. Javier Azeari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Matthew having to make a save. Lucio Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aguirre FC's Adrian Erdiano got a free kick in the 24th minute. Javier Azeari struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Melquiades Matthew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Brun. After a defensive mix-up in Aguirre FC's zone, Javier Azeari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Matthew came out of the goal and Javier Azeari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aguirre FC! In the 31st minute of the game, Club Atletico Brun got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. After 33 played minutes Club Atletico Brun got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Rudolfo. After 39 minutes of play, Aguirre FC's Adrian Erdiano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Salomon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Brun's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Rocio came free, but Anastasio Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Beliran struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Anastasio Salomon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguirre FC. If Conrado Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Mikeldi to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Javier Azeari notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Aguirre FC's Melquiades Matthew. Melquiades Matthew was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Aguirre FC booed when Club Atletico Brun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Brun getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Francisco Furtado hit a great ball. Anastasio Salomon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Beliran in the 94th minute of the match. Club Atletico Brun's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
