Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Beliran to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Nicanor Urdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
