Erasmo Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Izotz in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Izotz in the 11th minute of play forced Miñones's goalkeeper Erasmo Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Atletico El Linqueño fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Club Atletico El Linqueño's Iustin Moiș looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clodoveo Txema's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Erasmo Ovando skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Miñones's Erasmo Ovando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Izotz in the 29th minute of play. Matias Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Erasmo Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atletico El Linqueño's Matias Izotz got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Matias Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Txema blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Ovando having to make a save. Iustin Moiș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelino Ermano to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Miñones got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Osoro. Clodoveo Txema struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Erasmo Ovando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico El Linqueño. Matias Izotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 minutes, Prudencio Walme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico El Linqueño and the Miñones players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prudencio Walme kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Matias Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico El Linqueño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Izotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Moiș in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Ovando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Fabian Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Club Atletico El Linqueño's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Benitez came free, but Cezmi Tüzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Ovando having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Walme couldn't finish the play. Marcelino Ermano charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Ermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Miñones getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Marcelino Ermano hit a great ball. Clodoveo Txema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iustin Moiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Ekhi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Hugo Theodore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezmi Tüzel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atletico El Linqueño had played much better football throughout.
