In the 14th minute, Club Atletico Brun's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Artemio Benitez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 15th minute, Francisco Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Ermano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Salomon was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th match minute, Club Atletico Brun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Olentzaro to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Mikeldi struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Erasmo Ovando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Brun. In the 27th minute Marcelino Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Salomon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Miñones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Osoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Marcelino Ermano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Mikeldi in the 43rd minute of play. Lucio Mikeldi struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Ermano made a kick off. If Lucio Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Lucio Mikeldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Ermano in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Salomon saved Club Atletico Brun from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Brun's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Ermano came free, but Anastasio Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Marcelino Ermano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasio Salomon. Club Atletico Brun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Ermano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Miñones! In the 93rd minute, Club Atletico Brun's Lucio Mikeldi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erasmo Ovando. Erasmo Ovando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Javier Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Ovando having to interfere.
