Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) tempra fc's Ciro Ourente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Nardo in the 4th minute of play forced tempra fc's goalkeeper Daniel Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Urdin charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Urdin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 12 minutes in the game, Valentin Nardo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Daniel Buinton having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Fidel Gaspard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Daniel Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, tempra fc's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Nardo came free, but Daniel Buinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, tempra fc's Daniel Buinton got control of the ball when Nicanor Urdin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Ciro Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tambillo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Felix Acuña hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Urdin got free with Daniel Buinton in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Montel took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Abella. Epifanio Abella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Daniel Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Nardo in the 43rd minute of play. Nicanor Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tambillo's Epifanio Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Ourente in the 55th minute of play. When Hugo Hechter fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored tempra fc's protests and gave Hugo Hechter a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tambillo booed when tempra fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Tambillo's Benedicto Osoro tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Daniel Buinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ciro Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Tambillo got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Tipi. 79 minutes into the match, Tambillo's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Ourente came free, but Epifanio Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Tambillo's Nicanor Urdin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Buinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ciro Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Acuña during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Tambillo got a freekick which was hit by Felix Acuña. In the 91st minute, Nicanor Urdin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Abella having to interfere. Ciro Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Epifanio Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tempra fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing tempra fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
