If Nicolas Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Amador Alonso made the kick off in the second half. When Amador Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Hurlingham fans jumped to their feet. When the match was over Hurlingham could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Río Cuarto F.C throughout the match.
