The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Panfrula F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liebig's Eleuterio Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Lopes in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Liebig's Eleuterio Jax got control of the ball when Antonio Pudes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Amador Olayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panfrula F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liebig the free kick. A collision led to Panfrula F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Amador Olayo hit a great ball. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panfrula F.C.! Joel Iraitz struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Saul Formerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liebig. The Liebig fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Liebig's Feliberto Fe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joel Iraitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Formerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Iraitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Fe made a kick off. Antonio Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Jax having to interfere. Joel Iraitz struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Saul Formerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liebig. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Pudes in the 74th minute of play forced Liebig's goalkeeper Eleuterio Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliberto Fe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Fonda hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Joel Iraitz came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Saul Formerio could save by the left post. 89 minutes in the game, Feliberto Fe fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Saul Formerio having to interfere. Bartolo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Jax having to interfere. Bartolo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Liebig players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
