After 8 played minutes Río Cuarto F.C got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Perutxo. 10 minutes into the match, Río Cuarto F.C's goalkeeper Carlos Gustavo Bossio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Osoitz. Nicolas Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Nicolas Asteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Lixandro in the 28th minute of play forced Sportivo Vittorio's goalkeeper Miguel Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sportivo Vittorio getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cayetano Venerando hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Isaac Indalecio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Johans skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute, Santiago Santikurtz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santiago Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carlos Gustavo Bossio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Lixandro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sportivo Vittorio's Miguel Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Lixandro in the 53rd minute of play. Miguel Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Lixandro in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Sportivo Vittorio's Fernando Osoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Gustavo Bossio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Gustavo Bossio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Miguel Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Río Cuarto F.C's Miguel Johans threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavio Lixandro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fernando Osoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gustavo Bossio having to interfere. Fernando Osoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A long shot from Isaac Indalecio in the 88th minute of play was well struck, but Miguel Johans made a really good save at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Vittorio's zone, Nicolas Asteri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Johans came out of the goal and Nicolas Asteri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Flavio Lixandro came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Río Cuarto F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Lixandro couldn't finish the play.
