Nemesio Tabor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Johans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Zacarias Quexal took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Johans. Miguel Johans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Miguel Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tabor in the 19th minute of the match. Godfredo Henric hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Nemesio Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sportivo Vittorio getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cayetano Venerando hit a great ball. Naranjito's Nemesio Tabor got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nemesio Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Tabor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Johans was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Naranjito were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Sportivo Vittorio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiburcio Corderall took the corner. Reynaldo Chumo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Osoitz in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Santiago Santikurtz made the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Venerando hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Palben got free with Miguel Johans in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Orlando Maura fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Vittorio's protests and gave Orlando Maura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Sportivo Vittorio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Maura to maneuver through the defense. Juan Palben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Juan Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naranjito's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Palben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Johans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Reynaldo Chumo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Santikurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lázaro Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 91 in the game by Juan Palben from a close distance when the talented Miguel Johans managed to make a qualified save. Sportivo Vittorio's players were relieved. Lázaro Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Miguel Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juan Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Naranjito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sportivo Vittorio throughout the match.
