Nicolas Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Ubelteso having to interfere. Río Cuarto F.C's Nicolas Asteri got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honorato Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gustavo Bossio having to interfere. Honorato Rey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Gustavo Bossio having to make a save. After 37 played minutes Río Cuarto F.C got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Perutxo. 39 minutes in the game, Honorato Rey dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorato Rey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorato Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carlos Gustavo Bossio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Gustavo Bossio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Gustavo Bossio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Casimiro Nuno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Gustavo Bossio. Río Cuarto F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Nuno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zeledon Ubelteso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Lixandro in the 85th minute of the match. Florentino Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gustavo Bossio having to interfere. Dalmacio Baumer hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Isaac Indalecio in the 94th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Zeledon Ubelteso's left hand side. Estacas AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
