The audience was convinced that Juan Palben's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Rubio was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Nemesio Tabor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Rubio. Toro Rosso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Tabor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 24th minute Juan Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Placido Milian fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toro Rosso's protests and gave Placido Milian a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes, Naranjito's Tiburcio Corderall shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimundo Rubio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Naranjito reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nemesio Tabor in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Rubio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 34th minute of the match Placido Milian completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Placido Milian a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tiburcio Corderall, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nemesio Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Rubio having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Juan Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naranjito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Palben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Naranjito booed when Toro Rosso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Juan Palben had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Rubio. Toro Rosso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Palben was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Toro Rosso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Naranjito were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Nemesio Tabor made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Naranjito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Tabor to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Esteban Aresti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Tabor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Rubio was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Juan Palben might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Rubio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Palben ran back to his position shaking his head. Toro Rosso's Raimundo Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Tabor in the 76th minute of play. Nemesio Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Naranjito's Nemesio Tabor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Rubio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Toro Rosso's goalkeeper Raimundo Rubio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Palben. Juan Palben could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Raimundo Rubio made a huge save. Toro Rosso's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nemesio Tabor 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. The Toro Rosso fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Naranjito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
