In the 42nd minute of the match Gogo Hondo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Alvarez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Hubbart's Rogelio Maju made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogelio Maju to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Jonas Cresencio made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Alvarez. Chañaritos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Rogelio Maju managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hubbart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Maju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Millano in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Chañaritos AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Orlondo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Medardo got free with Cornelio Alvarez in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Arnoldo Llanos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hubbart's Ermegildo Jobo didn't even have to move. Rogelio Maju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hubbart getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Silvio Orlondo hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Chañaritos AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Maju. Rogelio Majus short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Cornelio Alvarez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Hubbart left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chañaritos AFC.
