In the 2nd minute, Diego Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Jaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Celio in the 3rd minute of play. Awados's Diego Urdin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Awados from getting a goal against them. Ciriaco Celio took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Jaume. Ivan Jaume dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Romulo Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Serafino Victoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Diego Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Jaume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Eutropio in the 15th minute of the match. Feliberto Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Ireno in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Urdin saved Awados from getting behind. If Feliberto Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Edgard Eutropio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gogon FC's Ivan Jaume. Ivan Jaume was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the game, Angelo Su was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Awados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gogon FC the free kick. In the 36th minute, one of Awados:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Awados. Ciriaco Celio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Jaume having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Ireno to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Celio in the 54th minute of play forced Gogon FC's goalkeeper Ivan Jaume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Jaume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Celio in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Awados booed when Gogon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Perico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogon FC's Feliberto Ireno got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marciano Olentzaro fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gogon FC's protests and gave Marciano Olentzaro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gogon FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marciano Olentzaro hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Ciriaco Celio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Gogon FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edgard Eutropio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edgard Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Jaume having to interfere. Diego Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Edgard Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Ciriaco Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Awados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Celio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Awados's zone, Serafino Victoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Urdin came out of the goal and Serafino Victoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, Gogon FC's Feliberto Ireno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Urdin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Gogon FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Awados's performance. The match ended with a win for Awados.
