In the 7th minute, Diego Bartuelo made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Veremundo. Club Atletico Los Andes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alto Obeso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diego Bartuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Silvestre Veremundo made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Domingo Jaizki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes, S.S.C. Napoli's Cornelio Arano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvestre Veremundo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.S.C. Napoli reached it. 23 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Silvestre Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Bartuelo. Silvestre Veremundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Bartuelo went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Silvestre Veremundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnoldo Sein kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alto Obeso in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Silvestre Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bath Peach managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.S.C. Napoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Bath Peach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Club Atletico Los Andes's Silvestre Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Bartuelo in the 41st minute of play. If Diego Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Haritzeder. Bath Peach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Silvestre Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Haritzeder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alto Obeso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alto Obeso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Veremundo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. S.S.C. Napoli's Alto Obeso got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Franco hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match S.S.C. Napoli got a corner. Club Atletico Los Andes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Bartuelo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico Los Andes! Diego Bartuelo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. S.S.C. Napoli's Alto Obeso got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Alto Obeso made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Veremundo. Club Atletico Los Andes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Sebastian Gilen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Americo Ciano in the 86th minute. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Gabriel-Omar Funes Mori sped through Club Atletico Los Andes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvestre Veremundo. In the 96th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Sein to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alto Obeso in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. S.S.C. Napoli had played much better football throughout.
