The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee ignored Horror team's protests and gave Enrique Joanes a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Celio in the 5th minute of play forced Horror team's goalkeeper Fabian Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Raebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Uxio in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Santos Iturri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Urdin was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. If Cosme Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Iturri made a kick off. Awados's Diego Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Hartz in the 55th minute of play. If Santos Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Romulo Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Horror team's Honorio Maureo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Diego Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Iturri in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Edgard Eutropio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Raebert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 70th minute, Horror team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edgard Eutropio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Santos Iturri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Urdin. Awados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Iturri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The tension between the Awados and the Horror team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosme Lano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Iturri in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Urdin saved Awados from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Horror team fully deserved thier win.
