The referee ignored Club Atletico Los Andes's protests and gave Arnoldo Sein a yellow card for diving instead. When Edgard Eutropio came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Awados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Eutropio couldn't finish the play. Diego Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Diego Urdin was a little too slow when Augusto Haritzeder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Edgard Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Silvestre Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Awados. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Uxio in the 38th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Silvestre Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Urdin made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Americo Ciano sent off a good shot on target. Edgard Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Veremundo having to interfere. Arnoldo Sein kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Aquiles Oskitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50th minute of the match Domingos Iturri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Veremundo skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Haritzeder made a kick off. Club Atletico Los Andes's Silvestre Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Celio in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute, Domingo Jaizki made a precise shot to the right of Diego Urdin. Awados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Americo Ciano put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Diego Urdin. 78 minutes into the match, Awados's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Ciano came free, but Diego Urdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Silvestre Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Eutropio. Silvestre Veremundo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Awados's Edgard Eutropio. But to his dismay, Edgard Eutropio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Awados's goalkeeper Diego Urdin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
