After 4 played minutes TOMBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Hechter. TOMBA FC's Godofredo Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Gonzales in the 9th minute of play. Genaro Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. David Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Genaro Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Aguirre was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. TOMBA FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. David Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Aguirre in the 25th minute of the match. Zanjitas's David Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Aguirre in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zanjitas's Jonas Conrao got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Camilo Enekoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TOMBA FC's Godofredo Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zanjitas's zone, Genaro Aguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Genaro Aguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Cosme Paio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOMBA FC and the Zanjitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosme Paio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Jonas Conrao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Godofredo Veremundo. TOMBA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Enzo Gonzales made the kick off in the second half. When Gaston Toribio came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the TOMBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Toribio couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Zanjitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Arnalt to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Veremundo having to interfere. Zanjitas's Valentin Arnalt pulled a muscle in his leg after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Sebastian Guerrero fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TOMBA FC's protests and gave Sebastian Guerrero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, TOMBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. Zanjitas's Hernan Loren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Godofredo Veremundo but with some difficulty. Godofredo Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Enekoitz in the 72nd minute of the match. If Camilo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
