Recreo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 7th minute Enzo Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Lehen during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zanjitas's Delmiro Lehen got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ramon Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. David Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Endura in the 19th minute of play forced Zanjitas's goalkeeper David Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Recreo's Ariel Frederik got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jonas Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Firman in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Barrionuevo saved Zanjitas from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Camilo Enekoitz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Gonzales in the 36th minute of play forced Recreo's goalkeeper Eulalio Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Zanjitas's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Rosio came free, but David Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Endura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Barrionuevo having to interfere. The supporters of Recreo booed when Zanjitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Hegoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Recreo's Edgardo Guzman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zanjitas. In the 45th minute, Remigio Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Nabar came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Zanjitas's Camilo Enekoitz. But to his dismay, Camilo Enekoitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Gonzales made a kick off. Zanjitas's Valentin Arnalt got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. David Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zanjitas's Delmiro Lehen got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Ramon Endura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Barrionuevo. The goal made the score 2-1. Higinio Firman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Barrionuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Camilo Enekoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Enekoitz in the 85th minute of play forced Recreo's goalkeeper Eulalio Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Enekoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match, Victorio Cresenciano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Barrionuevo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Enekoitz in the 96th minute of play forced Recreo's goalkeeper Eulalio Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zanjitas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
