Teodosio Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Veremundo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Guerrero during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gaston Toribio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Iker Boniel made a huge save. The supporters of Santos de Lucas booed when TOMBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TOMBA FC! Godofredo Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Maiorga in the 46th minute of the match. After 48 minutes, Amado Lauro made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. TOMBA FC's Godofredo Veremundo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Lauro was the one to do the kick off. Genaro Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Iker Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abel Gonsalvo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos de Lucas's protests and gave Abel Gonsalvo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Santos de Lucas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. In the 74th minute Genaro Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santos de Lucas's Amado Lauro got a free kick in the 74th minute. Teodosio Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, TOMBA FC's Godofredo Veremundo got control of the ball when Claudio Theobald tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santos de Lucas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
