When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Enzo Gonzales put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Federico Toli. Camilo Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Toli having to interfere. Federico Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Gonzales in the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Txema was the one to do the kick off. Federico Toli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Enekoitz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Camilo Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Enzo Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Camilo Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zanjitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Toli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Gonzales in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Zanjitas's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Txema came free, but David Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zanjitas's goalkeeper David Barrionuevo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Camilo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Zanjitas getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Valentin Arnalt hit a great ball. Pampichuela's Vladimiro Virila couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. Samuel Txema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Barrionuevo having to interfere. Pampichuela's Cecilio Manni got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zanjitas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pampichuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
