Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 50) Zanjitas's Enzo Gonzales started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Córdoba's zone, Camilo Enekoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Pierres came out of the goal and Camilo Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Córdoba's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Gonzales came free, but Gavino Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Americo Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Córdoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Terciero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Gaueko in the 16th minute of the match. Americo Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. David Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Córdoba's Americo Terciero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Barrionuevo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hernan Loren's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Córdoba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Loren helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zanjitas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Club Atlético Córdoba a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celestino Egoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zanjitas's David Barrionuevo. 0-1. David Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Bartuelo in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Gaueko in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Barrionuevo saved Zanjitas from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Americo Terciero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Americo Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. David Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Córdoba booed when Zanjitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Egoi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 46 played minutes Zanjitas got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Loren.

In the 54th minute of the match, Americo Terciero got a very nice opportunity to score, but David Barrionuevo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Camilo Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Bartuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Enzo Gonzales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gavino Pierres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Americo Terciero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Barrionuevo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jonas Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Everardo Gaueko could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-3 into the left cross. Club Atlético Córdoba's Gavino Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Enekoitz in the 86th minute of play. Zanjitas's David Barrionuevo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Zanjitas from getting a goal against them. If Everardo Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Americo Terciero could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which David Barrionuevo however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Gonzales in the 97th minute of play forced Club Atlético Córdoba's goalkeeper Gavino Pierres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético Córdoba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
