TOMBA FC's Godofredo Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Inautzi in the 5th minute of play. When Sebastian Guerrero fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TOMBA FC's protests and gave Sebastian Guerrero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, TOMBA FC's Sebastian Guerrero got a free kick in the 6th minute. Lisandro Chale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godofredo Veremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, TOMBA FC's Genaro Aguirre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Chepe. Emanuel Chepe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lisandro Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Inautzi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Veremundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Lisandro Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Chale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Veremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Mario Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in TOMBA FC's zone, Lisandro Chale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Veremundo came out of the goal and Lisandro Chale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Lisandro Chale notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TOMBA FC's Godofredo Veremundo. Godofredo Veremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Lisandro Chale came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mercedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Chale couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, TOMBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Inautzi came free, but Godofredo Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TOMBA FC's Cosme Paio got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Aguirre made a kick off. TOMBA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Aguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 68th minute, Jonas Criston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Boniel during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, one of Mercedes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mercedes. The referee gave TOMBA FC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Florian, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mercedes's Emanuel Chepe. 2-1. Lisandro Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
