Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Palpalá's Javier Berdaitz in the 3rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Epifanio Maureo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Simoca through an amazing save. Epifanio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Berdaitz in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Simoca's Fernan Castel got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jonathan Sol was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Javier Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Epifanio Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Simoca got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Leoncio. Epifanio Maureo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Urko in the 30th minute. Palpalá's Ruperto Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Licerio in the 34th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Octavio Erroman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eugenio Barbosa hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. With his leg Epifanio Maureo managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Palpalá's Cayetano Urko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ruperto Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Erroman, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Erroman to strike the kick off in the second half. Octavio Erroman struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ruperto Isidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simoca. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jimeno Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Licerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Isidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Javier Berdaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Abaunza hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Dionisio Bernebe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Isidor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dionisio Bernebe's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ruperto Isidor on his right side and into the goal. 83 minutes into the game it was 1-2. Epifanio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Urko in the 87th minute of play. Cayetano Urko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Maureo having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Simoca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
