Benito Feo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Pirmin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartolo Baraquiel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Benito Feo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DE LEON FC's Joel Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Feo in the 24th minute of play. Bartolo Baraquiel struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Evaristo Pirmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DE LEON FC. 31 minutes into the match, DE LEON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Iraido came free, but Joel Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Lop having to interfere. Joel Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Iraido in the 39th minute of play. Santos Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Joel Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Laurin during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes DE LEON FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Laurin. In the 48thth minute of the game Santos Iraido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DE LEON FC's Joel Lop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Iraido was the one to do the kick off. DE LEON FC's Joel Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Iraido in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Iraido in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Lop saved DE LEON FC from getting behind. When Benito Feo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the OGT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Feo couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Benito Feo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Benito Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, DE LEON FC's goalkeeper Joel Lop had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benito Feo. Joel Lop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Iraido's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind DE LEON FC's goalkeeper Joel Lop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Lop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Iraido in the 85th minute of the match. Santos Iraido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Santos Iraido recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Lop. Santos Iraido showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Benito Feo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OGT's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because DE LEON FC had won, even though OGT had held more of the ball.
