The supporters of Sportivo Italiano booed when DE LEON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Gonzo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Gau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Aurelio Llorenc fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Llorenc in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Lop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 played minutes Sportivo Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Lander. After 30 played minutes, DE LEON FC's Fernan Martinez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Segundo Gau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DE LEON FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gavino Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Italiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Matthew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Federico Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Godfredo Gonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DE LEON FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Italiano the free kick. Godfredo Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Aurelio Llorenc came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sportivo Italiano fans jumped to their feet. The DE LEON FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Lop should have stopped the shot.
