Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 0) Luzuriaga's Gaspar Ebardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Luzuriaga's Octavio Garci got control of the ball when Baldomero Nabar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Oier to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gaspar Ebardo sped through Liverpool FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eulalio Chabier. Mauro Oliveiro hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Gaspar Ebardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Abreu's late challenge caught a Luzuriaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute of the match Nemesio Amaya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Chabier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaspar Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Chabier having to interfere. Liverpool FC's Eulalio Chabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Aires in the 20th minute of play. Eulalio Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Ebardo in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Liverpool FC's Ruperto Vitin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octavio Garci. Octavio Garci yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 38th minute, Baldomero Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Oliveiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eulalio Chabier. Liverpool FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gaspar Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Vitin to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Chabier having to interfere. Gogo Aires charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gogo Aires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaspar Ebardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Eulalio Chabier made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspar Ebardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eulalio Chabier. That made the score 2-3 in the 62 minute of play. In the 75th minute, Gaspar Ebardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Chabier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. With a little luck, Liverpool FC's Eulalio Chabier got control of the ball when Leonardo Efren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaspar Ebardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Luzuriaga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Luzuriaga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
