Palpalá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. Palpalá's Cayetano Urko got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Palpalá's goalkeeper Ruperto Isidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Oier. Cayetano Urko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eulalio Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Chabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Javier Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Afonso charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiberto Afonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filiberto Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Eulalio Chabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Palpalá's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Berdaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Chabier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Abaunza charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Liverpool FC's Eulalio Chabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Berdaitz in the 74th minute of play. In the 80th minute Javier Berdaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Chabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Isidor came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool FC's Saverio Oier. But to his dismay, Saverio Oier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 92nd minute of the match, Cayetano Urko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eulalio Chabier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ruperto Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ruperto Isidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Liverpool FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palpalá had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
