In the 5th minute Aurelio Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Cecilio Guifre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Segundo Gau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Abaunza hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Aurelio Llorenc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palpalá's Ruperto Isidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Urko in the 18th minute of play forced Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Segundo Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Urko in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Gau saved Sportivo Italiano from getting behind. Palpalá's Cayetano Urko got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Sportivo Italiano's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Urko came free, but Segundo Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Urko in the 26th minute of play forced Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Segundo Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Tabor charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Tabor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bartolo Tabor kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Palpalá got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Guifre. When Mauricio Lander fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Italiano's protests and gave Mauricio Lander a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Palpalá booed when Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Lander didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aurelio Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Aurelio Llorenc made the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Llorenc in the 52nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Palpalá:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sportivo Italiano:s goal. The referee gave Sportivo Italiano a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amadeo Turi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Palpalá's Ruperto Isidor. 1-1. Bartolo Tabor hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Gavino Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Palpalá's Ruperto Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Matthew in the 81st minute of play. Gavino Matthew struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ruperto Isidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Italiano. If Gavino Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Llorenc in the 98th minute of play. Sportivo Italiano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
