In the 14th minute Guaberto Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Damario during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Telmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Sal went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. ROPA SUCIA were furious when Serafin Ellande was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ROPA SUCIA! The referee gave Gaona FC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tadeo Nel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ROPA SUCIA's Haroldo Bernaldo. 1-1. After having played for 35 minutes, Edgardo Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROPA SUCIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Jakue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Remigio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Bernaldo having to interfere. Martin Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Guaberto Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Guaberto Remigio made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Tadeo Nel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ROPA SUCIA's Haroldo Bernaldo didn't even have to move. Rogelio Raitin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Eduardo Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROPA SUCIA.
