Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ezequiel Henry got the match started through his kick off. When Dionisio Ponce came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FC Sonata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Ponce couldn't finish the play. Gouin AFC's Marcelo Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Brais in the 7th minute of play. Hipolito Brais struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Marcelo Mede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sonata. In the 10th minute Dionisio Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Mede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Idacio in the 12th minute of play forced Gouin AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Brais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Mede came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Sonata's Dionisio Ponce. But to his dismay, Dionisio Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hipolito Brais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience cheered when Braulio Admon's long shot passed Marcelo Mede's right side. It was 0-2, 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Ezequiel Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Sonata's Santos Oliverios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Sonata from getting a goal against them. Hipolito Brais struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marcelo Mede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sonata. After a rather tough play, Gouin AFC's Cristobal Ruisko got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Braulio Admon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Mede. Gouin AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Isidro Pereyra fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sonata's protests and gave Isidro Pereyra a yellow card for diving instead. The Gouin AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Sonata were winning 0-2.

If Dionisio Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Brais in the 54th minute of play. Marcelo Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Brais in the 59th minute of the match. When FC Sonata's Hipolito Brais in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gouin AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelo Mede acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Camilo Abadia. Dionisio Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Marcelo Mede made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Ezequiel Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Oliverios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ezequiel Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Mauro Nuno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Sonata's Santos Oliverios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santos Oliverios came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Gouin AFC's Domingo Serafo. But to his dismay, Domingo Serafo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 92 minutes into the game, one of Gouin AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
