Santos Oliverios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Jerico in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Ponce in the 5th minute of play forced Alastuey's goalkeeper Angelo Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7th play minutes Hipolito Brais shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Angelo Weterio and just under the crossbar into goal. 10 minutes into the match, Alfredo Ortle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santos Oliverios, 1-1. Angelo Weterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Brais in the 14th minute of the match. Hipolito Brais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Oliverios having to interfere. If Dionisio Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Brais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Harriet's shot from long distance in the 46th minute was not bad at all, but FC Sonata's Santos Oliverios knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Ortle to strike the kick off in the second half. Santos Oliverios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Ortle in the 55th minute of the match. Braulio Admon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dionisio Ponce scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Weterio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Alastuey's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dionisio Ponce fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Angelo Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Ortle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Oliverios was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. FC Sonata's Adan Idacio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hipolito Brais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Weterio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, FC Sonata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Idacio to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Oliverios having to interfere. Santos Oliverios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, FC Sonata's Hipolito Brais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Weterio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredo Ortle might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Oliverios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Ortle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 98th minute, Teodosio Gurutz made a precise shot to the right of Santos Oliverios. FC Sonata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
