With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Luix in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Pasqual saved Zodiaco FC from getting behind. Nereo Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Pasqual having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fenix's Nicanor Santikurtz got a free kick in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Nuno in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Baristo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nereo Pierres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes, Nereo Pierres made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zodiaco FC's Humberto Pasqual tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Zodiaco FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aristides Aragones hit a great ball. Humberto Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Pierres did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Humberto Pasqual 30 minutes into the match. Humberto Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Nereo Pierres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Pasqual was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Marco Luix came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Luix couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Pierres to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Pierres was the one to do the kick off. Marco Luix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Urbano Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Truylos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nereo Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Pasqual having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Jimeno Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Marco Luix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zodiaco FC's Humberto Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Pierres in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Pierres in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Pasqual prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urbano Truylos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Pasqual having to make a save. A collision led to Zodiaco FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aristides Aragones hit a great ball. Nicanor Santikurtz's late challenge caught a Zodiaco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Santikurtz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fenix's Nicanor Santikurtz got a free kick in the 77th minute. Edgard Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89th play minutes Nereo Pierres shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Humberto Pasqual and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 96th minute, Nereo Pierres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fenix's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
