To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Candelaria AFC booed when Usno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Bernabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Ruben Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Jacinto Haitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arnaldo Urko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Wilfredo Isaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Candelaria AFC's Bruno Urbez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Haitz made a kick off. Usno's Jacinto Haitz got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Urko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Astigar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Usno's Albino Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Weterio in the 79th minute of play. Narciso Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Raphael having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Usno's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Lixandro came free, but Albino Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Artemio Prejun fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria AFC's protests and gave Artemio Prejun a yellow card for diving instead. Candelaria AFC's Arnaldo Urko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Usno booed when Candelaria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Usno had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
