Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Igor Ebardo made the kick off which started today's match. Efrain Silviano came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Cieneguillas's Candido Gaxan. But to his dismay, Candido Gaxan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Efrain Silviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Ederono in the 10th minute of the match. If Bernardino Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Igor Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Nalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Clodio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Cieneguillas's Efrain Shantala seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Efrain Shantala the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cieneguillas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Efrain Shantala had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Candido Gaxan might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Silviano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Gaxan ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Candido Gaxan notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Club Atlético Fénix's Efrain Silviano. Efrain Silviano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 48 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Gaxan came free, but Efrain Silviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Cieneguillas were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Gaxan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgard Clodio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Cieneguillas's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Lander came free, but Justo Nalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Lander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Candido Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Fénix's Anibal Cruz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cieneguillas. If Bernardino Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cieneguillas's Justo Nalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Lander in the 72nd minute of play. Igor Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Nalo having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Bernardino Lander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Igor Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Fénix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Ebardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernardino Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Silviano having to interfere. Bernardino Lander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Silviano came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Cieneguillas's Candido Gaxan. But to his dismay, Candido Gaxan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Candido Gaxan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cieneguillas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
