Rogelio Ihazintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Bernabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Usno defense, Constantino Goi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Raphael. The Usno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Raphael should have stopped the shot. After having played for 16 minutes, Sebastian Adrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Red Blazers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Adrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Red Blazers's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Haitz came free, but Rogelio Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Sendoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Red Blazers's Sebastian Adrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albino Raphael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Albino Raphael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Adrio in the 28th minute. Usno's Jacinto Haitz got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herminio Cerilo scored 3-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Raphael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Usno's Albino Raphael got control of the ball when Sebastian Adrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Sendoa in the 44th minute of play forced Usno's goalkeeper Albino Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jacinto Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of Usno booed when Club Atletico Red Blazers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Apolo Sendoa made the kick off in the second half. Rogelio Ihazintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Haitz in the 55th minute. Usno's Albino Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Cerilo in the 57th minute of play. Robustiano Basualdo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Basualdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Usno got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Basualdo. Sebastian Adrio might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Raphael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Adrio ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Usno getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Robustiano Basualdo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Adrio in the 64th minute of play forced Usno's goalkeeper Albino Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Red Blazers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Jacinto Haitz scored to the left of an out of position Rogelio Ihazintu, making the score, 3-1. Jacinto Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Herminio Cerilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Usno got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Astigar. Jacinto Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Ihazintu having to interfere.
