When Tadeo Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Porteña FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Pelayo couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Pelayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Vasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Tadeo Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Vasco having to interfere. Vladimiro Ciceron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patricio Vasco. Club Sporting Punta Alta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tadeo Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Patricio Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. If Erubiel Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Pelayo in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patricio Vasco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 56 played minutes Club Sporting Punta Alta got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Sanchez. Tadeo Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 67 played minutes Club Sporting Punta Alta got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Txordon. After a rather tough play, Porteña FC's Diego Chano got a free kick in the 68th minute. Porteña FC's Erubiel Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Tadeo Pelayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porteña FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Patricio Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Pelayo in the 75th minute. Gogo Eneas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
