Geronimo Ieltxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Silviano having to interfere. Humberto Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Ebardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Geronimo Ieltxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Efrain Silviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zodiaco FC's Edgard Nuno got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Edgard Nuno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zodiaco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 20 played minutes, Zodiaco FC's Cirilo Bakar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Efrain Silviano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zodiaco FC reached it. In the 26th minute, Geronimo Ieltxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Zodiaco FC booed when Club Atlético Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Fénix's Froilan Nardo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Edgard Nuno in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Efrain Silviano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgard Nuno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Efrain Silviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Fénix's Efrain Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Ieltxu in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Efrain Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Ieltxu in the 53rd minute of play. Humberto Pasqual was a little too slow when Igor Ebardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. Geronimo Ieltxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Fénix's goalkeeper Efrain Silviano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardino Lander struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Humberto Pasqual didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Fénix. When Bernardino Lander came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Club Atlético Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Lander couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Zodiaco FC booed when Club Atlético Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Domingo Monte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atlético Fénix's Efrain Silviano didn't even have to move. Geronimo Ieltxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Efrain Silviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zodiaco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Ieltxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zodiaco FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
