In the 44th minute, Igor Ebardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Bernardino Lander notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Candelaria AFC's Arnaldo Urko. Arnaldo Urko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Bernardino Lander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Narciso Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Fénix's goalkeeper Efrain Silviano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Igor Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Ebardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Silviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Club Atlético Fénix players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
