Marcelo Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Eneas having to interfere. Everardo Hurko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Ricardo Vincente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Eneas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ricardo Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataderos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Vincente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Eneas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Tadeo Pelayo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mataderos FC's Sergio Emperanza. Sergio Emperanza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Erubiel Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Emperanza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Anaya scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gogo Eneas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tadeo Pelayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Sergio Emperanza made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Porteña FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Sandalio came free, but Gogo Eneas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Ricardo Vincente made the kick off in the second half. Gogo Eneas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Vincente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Everardo Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Mataderos FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Lando. Sergio Emperanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Pelayo in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Marcelo Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jeronimo Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Vincente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gogo Eneas. That made the score 1-3 in the 77 minute of play. Marcelo Lando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gogo Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, one of Mataderos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
