With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Ihazintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 played minutes Cieneguillas got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Videl. Justo Nalo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Sebastian Adrio sent off a good shot on target. Rogelio Ihazintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Ederono, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Club Atletico Red Blazers getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Herminio Cerilo hit a great ball. Justo Nalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Adrio in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Apolo Sendoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Red Blazers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sebastian Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atletico Red Blazers's Apolo Sendoa got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogelio Ihazintu was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Lorenzo Ederono capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lorenzo Ederono really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Justo Nalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Sendoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
