Raimundo Sanchez's late challenge caught a Usno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11thth minute of the game Jacinto Haitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Sporting Punta Alta's Patricio Vasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Leon Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Vicente Lorencio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Usno's Albino Raphael. Albino Raphael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remigio Bernabel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Haitz in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Vasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albino Raphael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sporting Punta Alta. Jacinto Haitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Vasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Usno's Albino Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Lorencio in the 57th minute of play. Robustiano Basualdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Patricio Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacinto Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Robustiano Basualdo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patricio Vasco, 1-1. After 81 played minutes, Club Sporting Punta Alta's Florentino Honrio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albino Raphael came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Sporting Punta Alta reached it.
