Diego Montrelle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Fabricio Lordi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 13th play minutes Cornelio Franco shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Marcelo Ilazki and just under the crossbar into goal. If Cornelio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabricio Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Nataniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. La Tablada FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Honorio Librado in the 19th minute. La Tablada FC's Honorio Librado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabricio Lordi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 22nd minute Gaspar Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Berros's Fabricio Lordi got control of the ball when Diego Montrelle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Lordi having to interfere. Diego Montrelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fabricio Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Diego Montrelle got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bartolo Mantzio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After the first half Berros were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Tab to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes La Tablada FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Gonsalve. When Cornelio Franco came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Berros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Franco couldn't finish the play. Diego Montrelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fabricio Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Montrelle in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Lordi saved Berros from getting behind. If Ernesto Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Montrelle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Lordi having to make a save. A hard shot 72 in the game by Cornelio Franco from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Ilazki managed to make a qualified save. La Tablada FC's players were relieved. Fabricio Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Montrelle in the 74th minute of play. Fabricio Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Montrelle in the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Berros getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Matias Tome hit a great ball. Diego Montrelle got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fabricio Lordi handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. La Tablada FC's Abelardo Nataniel got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Franco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo Ilazki firmly grabbed it by the left post. 87 minutes into the match, La Tablada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Tab came free, but Marcelo Ilazki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Berros booed when La Tablada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Normando didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Tab kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelo Ilazki. That made the score 1-3 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Berros had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
