Lisandro Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Misael having to interfere. Baldomero Orland kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Covello FC's Manuel Cordeara in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nebraska United's goalie prevented a goal. Siro Jacob kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Lisandro Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Nebraska United's goalkeeper Froilan Misael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Cordeara. Nestor Lauren took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Froilan Misael. Froilan Misael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 37 played minutes Nebraska United got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Castel. If Gervasio Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Oinatz was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Melquiades Urre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nebraska United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Urre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Lauren in the 57th minute of play forced Nebraska United's goalkeeper Froilan Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Misael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Cordeara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Manuel Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Cordeara in the 72nd minute of play forced Nebraska United's goalkeeper Froilan Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Gervasio Oinatz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Gervasio Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, Joe Nicoll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Calvet. Covello FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joe Nicoll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 87th minute, Gervasio Oinatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gervasio Oinatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Covello FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Nebraska United had controlled the match.
