Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Esiquio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Baldomero Orland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Artemio Silvino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Joe Nicoll kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eustaquio Clementi. That made the score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. Gervasio Oinatz scored 1-6 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustaquio Clementi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 74 minutes, Gervasio Oinatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nebraska United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Oinatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Oinatz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustaquio Clementi came out and tried to block the shot, but Gervasio Oinatz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Oinatz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustaquio Clementi was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Gervasio Oinatz might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Clementi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Oinatz ran back to his position shaking his head. Artemio Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Eustaquio Clementi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Esiquio in the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Álzaga booed when Nebraska United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervasio Oinatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Clementi having to interfere.
